NOTD:Essence Fall for me

Today I've decided to wear something blue on my nails. But I also wanted something soft and girly. So, I've picked Essence Fall for me from their(discontinued) Multidimension line.

Fall for me is a light blue creme, I'd say it's baby blue=P I've had some problems with the application, because it was streaky, but after the third coat everything was great!
And then I decided to layer one coat of China glaze Fairy dust over it. Soooo amazing<3 Fairy dust is one of my favourited polishes. It's so pretty and the bling...just amazing! See for yourself:

NOTD:Pink nail art

I'm still alive=P Just no time for posting, I need all my time for my studying=(

I've seen this design on many, many, maaany nails before, and I wanted to do it for a long time, but never really got to it. But now I had time, so yesterday I did it! I was doing it troughout the day(one layer-one hour of study). Anyways, here it is, yesterday's manicure:

I have to say I'm really proud of this! The design turned out great! But unfortunatelly you can see where my top coat dragged the black polish=( I was so sad when I saw this. That's why I know I won't be wearing this for long. Do you know what top coat doesn't do stuff like this??
I really wanted to make a gradient butterfly, I hope you can see that on the pictures=) It was clearly visible IRL.
Does anyone know whose idea was this? I know many ladies re-created this and I'd love to know who was the first that came up with this idea=)
Oh, and here are the polishes used for this manicure:

Do you like it?

Today's haul

Here's what I bought today:
Essence Time for romance, Catrice I wear my sunglasses at night, Essence Candyction, Essence Colourbruation, Essence Glitterastic, Essence Confetteria and Essence Princessorize

As you can see I was able to get all the polishes that I wanted from the Crazy good times TE. And I'm very happy about that, they are gorgeous! I'm sure you've already seen swatches of these, but I promise I'll post mine by the end of the weel(yup, I'm bussy - studying=/). I also bought Essence Time for romance, because this was the polish that my BF picked up and said I should buy it and Catrice I wear my sunglasses at night, because it's going to be discontinued soon, and I really wanted this polish for some time, but never actually bought it until now.

Today my nails were naked all day due to studying and not having time to do them=/ But I'm sure I'll paint them tomorrow, and I'm sure I'll show them to you;)

NOTD Essence Cotton candy with a twist=)

So, here's my NOTD for today. I've chosen Essence Cotton candy from Circus, circus TE yesterday, when I saw swatches from Anna. But I didn't want to have just polish, so I thought what can I do? And heer's what I did:
These picture will be a bit bigger, because they were taken with my phone, since my camera battery died. I don't know if you are able to see this in the picture, but I'm wearing Cotton candy creme on all fingers excpet ring finger, where I'm wearing Essence Love of pink(from Multidimension line), and Cottond candy glitter on all fngers. I've stamped this with a design from Essence plate, that has different french manicure stamps on it(I hope you know what I'm talking about) and Color club Where's the soiree? Please, understand this was one of my first real tries with stamping and it's a little bit sloppy...well, it's not perfect but for now it will do. But I'm planning to improve in the future, so if you have any tips and trick...please, share!=)
Here are the pictures without stamping:

What can I say? i'm in love with this polish! The creme part  is just perfect! True one coater, and the colour is really amazing. I'd say it's a darkened pink/purple, depends on the light. Love of pink is a pink creme, that needed two coats for full opacity.
And the pictures without the glitter part:

Small haul and NOTD

Today I went shoping in Seiersberg. Imagine my surprise when I discovered a whole stand of P2 cosmetics. Maybe you've already knew that it was also sold in Austria, but I sure didn't, so I was speachless. Mainly because it wasn't in one of the ordinary drugstores, nope, it was in a store that sells lingerie - Palmers. I wouldn't even discover it, if I wasn't waiting there and I checked the window display. They also had the  Cirque de beauté collection and also some remainings from Black deluxe collection. So here's what I got for myself:
-Black deluxe smokey eye shadow palette in Blue drama
-Black deluxe nail polish in Blue pearl
-Feel natural puder in Natural rose
-Cirque de beaute duo lipstick in Cheeky lips
-Intensive khol eyeliner in Artful finland
-Eye dream in Midnight star
I also bougth nail art stickers from Essence Crystalliced collection, but I forgot to take a picture.
And here's my NOTD:

This is Essence - Applause, applause from Circus circus TE. This one is also made out of two parts: the red creme and red glitter. It is beautiful and pictures can't show how it looks in real life. It is much more shiny in person. This is two coats of glitters over one coat of creme=) I am just dissapointed that it didn't last long. I painted it yesterday and today it was already chiped=/ But it's true I didn't use a top coat(didn't have time...ups).

Red comparisons part I.

Since I am trying to downsize my stash, I'm looking for polishes that look similar or are even dupes. So, here are todays comparisons:
Essie - Lollipop and Carlo di Roma #19:
Essie on index and ring finger and Carlo di Roma on middle and little finger:
Taken in natural daylight, no flash
Sunshine, no flash
Taken with flash
 And a bottle picture
I used 2 coats with both of these, but my nail line is still visible due to both of them being jellies. I didn't have any problems with application. These two are very similar, but there are some minors differences that you can see in the last picture. Essie is still a little bit more opaque and a tad darker. Both dried extremely glossy.
Bourjois - Rouge escarpin, MNY #353 and OPI - O'hare and nails look great!:
Bourjois on index finger, MNY on middle finger and OPI in ring finger
Taken in natural daylight, no flash
 Sunshine, no flash
 Taken with flash
  And a bottle picture
My cutticles are a bit dry here, because of the use of acetone and a lot of swatching. Please, excuse that=)
I used two coats for all of this. IRL they are a little bit darker. I don't see a difference in colour between these. The application was fine, no problems, but I like the brush from OPI the best.
Manhattan # 46K, BL Deluxe #2 and Essie - Happy hour:
Manhattan on index finger, BL Deluxe on middle finger and Essie on ring finger.
Taken in natural daylight, no flash
  Sunshine, no flash
 Taken with flash
  And a bottle picture
These three look very much alike in the bottles, but on the nails they are different.
All of them are cremes. Manhattan is the most opaque of all three and Essie the least. If I'd been more careful one thicker coat of Manhattan would be enough, but I used two. It is also the darkest here. BL Deluxe is lighter than Manhattan. BL Deluxe is also a bit more sheer than Manhattan, I used three coats. I didn't have any problems with application. Essie is the sheerest. After three coats nail line was still a bit visible, but you can't see that in pictures. The application was flawless. Essie and BL Deluxe are similar, but not the same. Essie is lighter and sheerer.
NYX Blood and Essence Thirsty!(Eclipse LE):
NYX on index and ring finger and Essence on middle and little finger
Taken in natural daylight, no flash
  Sunshine, no flash
  Taken with flash
  And a bottle picture
Essence is more opaque than NYX, 2 coats were enought. After first coat there were some streaks, but the second coat even everything out. For NYX I needed 3 coats to get full opacity. Both dried very glossy. In the end these look almost the same, they are almost dupes. NYX is a little bit lighter, but you really have to look carefully to see it.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend!

Essence - My sparkling acrobat

This is from Circus circus TE and I love it! It is BEAUTIFUL! It's made out of two parts: creme black and glitter gold. The creme part is highly pigmented, so one coat is enough. It dries to very glossy finish. Glitters are different sizes and shapes. I really like it and I'm so happy I got it! So here are many pictures of this beauty(all pictures are clickable) - so click them to see the shining beauty=)
